So I saw the thread asking when the new 2008 Sedan's come out and it made me think of this. Do you prefer to own a G35 Sedan or a G35 Coupe? And if you post a reply after voting, why do you prefer either?

At first I wasn't sure what I preferred until I got a couple of loaner 07 sedans from the dealer while my coupe was in for services. I am definitely happier with my coupe, but my reason for it is mainly cause, I am a recently divorced, single father. The coupes have a back seat so I can have a car seat back there and so it the more sporty feel of the coupe just appeals to me more. If I were still married, maybe I might be more inclined to go with a sedan.

You put a good suspension on the sedan and you will get all the sporty feel you want, trust me. That and the fact the sedan weighs less than the coupe and has 4 doors. The sedan is truly a wolf in sheeps clothing.

I can't speak for the coupe but love my '06 sedan 6MT...I have owned many vehicles, including an Escalade, 2003 VW Passat, 2006 Titan, 1999 Saab Aero 9-5, etc...Right now we have a 2007 Acura MDX and my G35, and I can't believe how happy I am with the sedan. With the JWT Pop Charger/Z-tube and the stock 298 HP I am super happy and wouldn't change a thing. I like that I have 4 doors when I need it but it still handles and drives like a 2 door sport car.

Good luck with your decision...I'm sure you'll be happy either way!

I truly love my G35, even though its a 03. I am only 18, and owning a G35 at the age of 18 is something that I can't even dream about. I wouldn't mind of getting the sedan. But since I am still young and I am still more into the "racing world", the coupe will always fit me better. Maybe today when I am like 25 or higher, then the sedan will be more of something for me.

It is, of course, all a matter of opinion. My taste, even at the ripe age of 47, is still the coupe. I would be better off with a sedan for my business, but the coupe is by far the best looking car for the money on the road, so the clients will just have to be cramped in the back seat, or better yet drive thier own car. The new sedan is a great looking car, but it's the coupe I dream about. Just my 2 cents.

Unless you have more than 2 kids, that are older, I would get a coupe. The backseat is what prompted me to get the G in the first place (the vette was my first choice). If your married, get the wife the sedan

I prefer the look of the Coupe. I like the nice wide stance in the back.

Don't get me wrong the Sedan is equally as beautiful, but it came down to exterior for me

I have been looking at coupes only, including Audi, BMW and Porsche. A 2004 G35 6MT coupe suited me more than any of the others and I expect a G37 to be even better.

Have said it before.Got the second sedan instead of a coupe cause I would have needed to get rid of the cobra......Wifey said no to a second 'sports car'.. ...Anyway, the coupe seats were not as comfortable to me for a DD.... Still lust for a coupe, but VERY happy with our sedans!!!

It's the coupe all the way for me. I didn't see the need to get another 4 door vehicle, because i have an SUV. And it just so happens that my boy has a '07 G35x So now we have the best of both worlds, coupe and sedan...and i the fact that i met him through Nico 6 months ago because of the G's makes it that much more interesting!

i had an option to either get a '07 coupe or a '07 sedan. i picked the sedan because of the updated styling cues and the sick interior. the coupe just doesn't do it for me with the styling, yeah maybe 3 years ago but not anymore. the lights are just too non-agressive. if i couldn't get the '07 sedan, i would've gotten the coupe.

07 Coupe here. Love the styling, have since the day it first hit.I'm coming from a PT Cruiser too, so I NEEDED something more aggressive!

Love the sedan, but my fiancee has the practical car :P

my 2 cents.

a. i own my owm IT company and it's MUCH easier for me to get my equipment in and out of the back seat of a 4 door than a coupe. SO would the functionality of a sedan be better for you or not?

b. i test drove the coupe with my gfriend and my friend and they HATED sitting in the back seat. theier heads kept hitting the roof. with the upgraded suspension on the sedan that i got it was a no brainer. i still like the look of the coupe better but if you have more than 1 friend than it kind of sucks.

drive both but ask about one with upgraded suspension. the 07s might have it already.

good luck.

I got a question for you guys that I barely thought about..originally I wanted to get the stillen exhaust

http://www.stillen.com/product...204DR

but as I kept researching and asking one of you about it..you informed me that if I wanna go turbo..get a turbo performance exhaust..unfortunately all the good ones are for the coupe...I need advice on this one i found

http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore...=1797

that one specifies its for the coupe..i want to get it cuz it looks awesome and it looks like a good one and it has a silencer because like most of you, I also prefer the sleeper feel..so I realize I would need a new bumper to support it since the coupe and the sedan and much different..so my main question is that all I need to be able to do this...can I add it to my MOD list with no worries as long as I get a new bumper? if so, do you guys have any suggestions on where can i get it and how much do they run for? ..thanks I hope one of you guys could help me out with this..thanks you guys..a lot of you have been very helpful

oh btw..its all about the sedan baby lol...it more comfortable and i have a big family and they would hate being in the back seat of the coupe lol..eventhough i love the racer look to the coupe..im down for the sedan

I think a couple of you may have misunderstood. I wasn't asking because I was trying to make a decision, I am already a proud owner of a 2003 G Coupe 5AT. I was just curious as to what the overall preference here was and the reasons why some of y'all bought what you did.

Yeah, that really is a huge surprise, I would NEVER have guess that! I can't really see how though, it's longer and isn't it?

I have plenty of friends too, and they always want to ride with me when we go to lunch from work. I tell them, sit in the back if you like, but I will not move my seat up a lot and make myself uncomfortable. I didn't buy this car to car pool passengers. lol It was a celebration of my being newly single. And you are right, the new sedan sure is very nice, but I too dream about the coupe. I really have too! I have dreamed about my G many times.

As I mentioned before, I got a divorce and had a 2005 Mazda Tribute V6. Being a single dad, I didn't feel like I needed that anymore and I felt like changing my image/driving something fun that suited my personality. Sure it was the engine, it's aggressive looking profile, etc. that attracted me to it, but it was the fact that I have been for as long as I can remember, an avid Skyline fan and the fact that the Army saw fit to change their minds and send me to Germany instead of Japan at the last minute and ruin my chances of buying an R34 and the fact that the G35 is in essence a Skyline, that sold me. One way or another, I was getting me a Skyline.
