I think a couple of you may have misunderstood. I wasn't asking because I was trying to make a decision, I am already a proud owner of a 2003 G Coupe 5AT. I was just curious as to what the overall preference here was and the reasons why some of y'all bought what you did.

Yeah, that really is a huge surprise, I would NEVER have guess that! I can't really see how though, it's longer and isn't it?
hughey wrote:It is, of course, all a matter of opinion. My taste, even at the ripe age of 47, is still the coupe. I would be better off with a sedan for my business, but the coupe is by far the best looking car for the money on the road, so the clients will just have to be cramped in the back seat, or better yet drive thier own car. The new sedan is a great looking car, but it's the coupe I dream about. Just my 2 cents.
I have plenty of friends too, and they always want to ride with me when we go to lunch from work. I tell them, sit in the back if you like, but I will not move my seat up a lot and make myself uncomfortable. I didn't buy this car to car pool passengers. lol It was a celebration of my being newly single. And you are right, the new sedan sure is very nice, but I too dream about the coupe. I really have too! I have dreamed about my G many times.

Love the sedan, but my fiancee has the practical car :P
As I mentioned before, I got a divorce and had a 2005 Mazda Tribute V6. Being a single dad, I didn't feel like I needed that anymore and I felt like changing my image/driving something fun that suited my personality. Sure it was the engine, it's aggressive looking profile, etc. that attracted me to it, but it was the fact that I have been for as long as I can remember, an avid Skyline fan and the fact that the Army saw fit to change their minds and send me to Germany instead of Japan at the last minute and ruin my chances of buying an R34 and the fact that the G35 is in essence a Skyline, that sold me. One way or another, I was getting me a Skyline.
