I love the 09 coupe and it comes with more standard options I want such as 18 234/45/18's and sunroof and 6 speed manual. The handling is also better due to shorter wheel base.

The Sedan's i tested look almost as good, however they come w/ 17's which would cost money after the fact to upgrade for traction/looks. It also seems everything else is a seperate package between the hid's and sport package? Has anyone been able to negotiate a new Sedan w/18 inch wheels from the factory? Is it possible?

I would probably go w/the sedan as it is just as sporty pending a drop and better more aggressive tires as well as options.

What do you all think? I've got a small window as im negotiating a few 3.5 6 m/t coupes. before month end

How are you going to be using the car? Are you going to have more than 1 person in the car? Do you need trunk space?

The sedan is still sporty, but also carries some more cargo/people room. The coupe is sexier and more fun, but lacks a lot of cargo room.

Kinda depends on what you want to do with the car...

I want both. Sporty good looks performance and practicallity. The coupe has an advantage in the performance aspect mostly.

I have to think forward also at least a few years.

If that's the case, than the sedan is probably the right pick for you - Im sure you can probably work something out with the dealer to get the 18's from the coupe on the sedan, but it might end up costing you a lot in the long run, simply because nothing from the dealer comes cheap. At worst, at least get new tires because the stock Turanza's are absolute garbage.

Good luck!

Just get a 3.5 sedan and you are golden. There's many things you can do to it so it looks sporty, and also drives sporty, and you wont loose the cargo room.

they are longer and and slightly heavier and dont handle as well as the coupe.

Does the sedan have fstb stock? The one i tested oversteered on braking around a slight corner where as the coupe just held the road w/out having to brake

I bought the sadan, mainly because it was cheaper, but love it...

If you're single and don't haul a lot of stuff or don't see yourself hauling a lot of stuff, I'd go with the coupe. I went with the sedan because the coupe wasn't released at the time, plus I'm planning on keeping the car for quite some time (read: family vehicle). But... I have made all the basic performance upgrades for the time-being.

depends on your needs. I will speak from experience: there is very little back seat room in the coupe. The only thing that goes back there for me is a blanket and my dog. not very comfortable for anyone near 6' tall. but the coupe is amazing

Yea when I got mine the coupe wasnt out yet. But even so I probably still would have went with the sedan. I race BMX and I couldnt see myself fitting 2 race bikes, spare parts, tent, ez-up, luggage, cooler, etc in a coupe. And to be honest I HATE the look of the coupe, maybe its just the size of the rear end, it just urkes me.

Well, im not single.. Im a bit older (33) than you're average coupe owner, but I want bang for the buck. I figured hey it has two half seats if i start a family could fit a baby seat if neccessary.

The sedan just felt heavy on my test drive and was no where as tight. I would have to upgrade to 18' wheels and tires for traction b/c i am an enthusiast. and also a prokit. with the coupe its just a drop on the prokit. eh. I've never had a sporty coupe so to speak, but then the practicality thing comes back into play.

I have a 3rd gen alti now which i love, but its getting close to 100k and will be out of extended wrnty. I was looking at 03-04 z's as a summer car and keep the alti for winter. But id still be financing about the same b/c i wouldnt be trading in.

Yeah,

I tested a G37 coupe. Total hotness. It pulled so hard and held the road amazingly. It was the autostick too. I only drive manuals.. lol. I guess when you have the hp like that it can still be exhilerating. Price and practicality werent there though..

You'd probably like the coupe more
