You guys with hatchbacks are lucky! All of the Versa parts (even though there are very little) are made for the HB and won't work on the Sedan.

My trunk is getting a little bit scratched up and I'd like to know if there is a bumper protector for the Sedan. I searched and checked Ebay but had no luck. Will the HB one fit on the Sedan or am I just out of luck?

you can always get the HB one and worst case trim it down.

I haven't been able to find anything 'off the shelf' that would work either. Although the place I am going to get my windows tinted does offer a clear adhesive similar to clear bra products that they can cut to fit on the bumper below the trunk. They mentioned they would look at the car and quote me a price this weekend during the tint work.

I'll let you know what the result is.

Sweet that sounds good, but mine is already kind of scratched. I was hoping to hide it. haha

I wish I could buy a piece of plastic and wrap it around my car so it never got scratches!

So, as I mentioned earlier, I spoke with the guys at the tint place about getting a clear bumper protector for the trunk lip. After taking a look, they quoted me $35 installed. Below is the results:

Notice that you cannot see it, or where the protector begins or ends. Here in this closeup you can barely see the lines

I tested the stuff briefly, it works really well. I also like how it does not protect against UV, and will allow the paint below to fade just the same as the rest of the car.

That is excellent. Looks great and actually covers more surface area than the OEM one for the HB.

I have a bunch of nicks (from loading and unloading + putting on golf shoes) just outside of my OEM one that I have to get some touch-up paint on. Is that clear piece heavy enough to withstand the plastic soft spikes on golf shoes?

There is a company that will put a clear protector over your whole car. Its like the clear bra but its over the whole car. You can fill in your scratches to where it looks like you don't have any, then get that.

That would be amazing. Time for me to do some google searches to find this company.

I'm sure there is more than one company that does the whole car wrap, but the stuff they used to make my protector above is 'VentureShield', which is available as a wrap for your whole car.

And yes, it can handle damage caused by golf shoes and cleats. The stuff actually stretches and can be removed if needed. I imagine doing a whole car could get very expensive.

Yeah I can see how it would get expensive but if you have a nice paint job that you don't want chips in than it would probably be worth the money incase you got a scratch or a dent.

I am currently on VentureShields website looking for a local dealer in my area to see how much it would cost to wrap my car because I plan to get my car painted a Matte Black and I REALLY don't want any scratches or chips after that.
