Security System for Z...best camera?

So my 350z convertible was vandalized (I know my neighbor did it) and thus, I have been parking it elsewhere at night until the scumbag moves. However, because I didn't have pictures/video of it, I cannot prove who did it. Thus, I would like to get a wireless camera for my dashboard that takes good video at night. Unfortunately, there are no stores in my area that sell these (including car stereo stores) and nobody has been able to direct me to a good set up. All I need is a good camera that has a receiver that will pick up night imagery from about 100 yards. Randomly purchasing one off the internet doesn't seem a good idea. I want someone to advise me that already has one.

I'm hoping someone can advise that has experience with this? There must be someone out there who has a security camera in their Z? Please, I am desperate and tired of "commuting" to my everyday driver.

We have cameras at our company. I can tell you right now getting a night camera that can go up to 100 yards will be very expensive.

why in the car? why not on the house? or do you live in an apartment?

I guess you could mount a camera like one guy did in his Subaru and caught some lot techs taking his car for a joy shakedown drive after some maintenance, which was the original reason for the visit to the dealer.

That camera recorded the entire 10-15 min drive and even when they put the sun visor down to cover the camera, the mic picked up all noises and even their conversation. So, in the end, they didn't get away with s**t.

His camera was mounted at the top of the P-side A pillar.

well you can go the route of trying to catch im in the act or you can simply beat his a$$ untill he gets the point that your not playin around
