Hello folks,

So recently purchased a 2007 versa sl hatch, recently as in yesterday. Ive come to notice that the security icon on the dash comes on at odd times.
Just this evening i was driving my gf home, got to her house put the car in park while still running, she got out and when she closed the passenger door i heard a security beep in the cabin, and then the key icon came on. The only way it appeared i could get rid of this icon was to turn the car off and back on. I could be doing something wrong, can anyone share any information on this topic? Car is still under dealer warranty so wasn't sure if i may need to take it back in case its a module or something. Thanks

Oh and i did have two keys in the car, so not sure if maybe that was confusing the immobilizer. The icon was red. It appears when starting the vehicle it should normally be green.

We had problems for a while with both ikeys in my Versa, but then I changed the batteries in both and haven't had a problem since. And that's on a 2008, so your batteries are even older, if they've haven't been changed.

Thankyou for the reply, I opened up and checked the voltage on one of the remotes, and it was at 3.01, where typically 2025 batteries are at 3.25 new. So i went ahead and replaced the battery, lets see if that solves the issue.
