Security issue, wont start

Hello, 1998 Maxima here. I suppose this question is for someone with a deep technical knowledge of the 4th Gen Maxima. I will try to make it brief.

Problem began when my shifter broke and was able to slide across gears without release button. In addition the control cable mechanism for ignition lock plate broke at the sifter and I could not take my keys out anymore.

Trying diy I first opened and tampered with the ignition housing and lock plate looking for a release button that I could not find.

Secondly I opened the shifter compartment and found a means to manually move the cable so I can take out my keys. This however left me with a car I cannont start anymore. I believe I might have tampered with the Security system somehow and my car does not want to start anymore. If anyone has any knowledge on how to bypass the security feature or any other clue as to it wont start your help would be greatly appreciated. Thnx in Advance
