Hey, I am about to replace the thermostat in my RB20 and I was wondering if here was some trick to getting that third bolt that sits under the intake manifold. The other two look really simple but I dont see a good way to get at that third one. Anyone have any experience here? Do I have to remove something else to get at it?

Thanks

If Im not mistaken I used either a wobble socket and an extension or an open-ended wrench and turned it 1/30 of a rotation every time. Sux either way but it is possible.

use a uni-joint on the socket, works wonders...as for reinstallation make sure you use grey gasket ONLY that is warm, cold gasket maker will break stuff.

Cool, thanks guys, got some grey gasket, oem Z32TT thermostat, water wetter and oem Honda coolant. Hopefully this fixes things.
