Anyone try this?

STARTING PROCEDURE1. Start the engine.2. Turn the audio system OFF.3. While pushing the “SETTING” button, turn the volume control dial clockwise or counterclockwise for 40 clicks or more. (When the self-diagnosis mode is started, a short beep will be heard.)

Shifting from current screen to previous screen is performed by pushing “BACK” button.

it only takes me about 3 clicks of the volume to get into it, not 40.

Thanks! I had forgotten about it being put into an article in the article section. My memory is fading in my old age.

You can perform some of the tests of the car yourself, certain settings you can change for the better, etc.

Yes, it should work fine.

Although, as I recall, you have to be stopped to get into the diag mode. But, I am not certain of this per se.

Hold the info button down while turning the knob, not the setting button.

On my 06, two items you can adjust are the rear view camera angles, Bluetooth volume.
