So I was taking the emissions stuff off an s13 and noticed they had secondary butterflies near the intake ports. They don't close the runners completely (would that be necessary however since you must idle anyways)?

Now, I can't remember if when accounting for runner length and pulses (in na) the itbs needed to be at the end of the runners or at the base of the intake ports. Anyone heard anything about this or remember if the throttle bodies had to be at the venturis?

udpate:

Found something related at FA:http://www.nicoclub.com/forums...68277

they discuss the gap being an issue, but fabbing new plates is child's play.
