I've beening up and running for two full weeks now and thought I'd share some observations. So I'll start with everything I've got.96 S14 RB20DETSuspension:KYB AGX,Eibach Sportline,Nismo subframe and motor mountsWheels:17" fn01rc's with 205/45/17=will upgrade when the cheap tires wear outBrakes:R32 four piston in the front, stock in rear, spl braided lines all aroundFuel:walbro 255,300zx filter, aem afprExhaust:3" ebay sr20 downpipe w/ clocked flange, spacers to make the stock dump fit, 80mm 5zigen border max catback.Extras:in cabin boost controller, xtd 6 puck, nismo radiator capEngine prep:new gaskets including head gasket, valve job,all new hosesGauges:autometer boost, oil pressure, and water temp

So far I'm loving it. Pulls hard in every gear, but it seems like you have to bring the rpms up to motivate it in 1st at least to 5k. In 5th at full boost it accelerates fine, but doesnt really pull until after 80mph. I have adjusted the stock tach and its helps a ton in finding the shift points. There is a small backfire occasionally when I let off of the throttle quickly. I dont know if thats the engine or just the exhaust. I adjusted the idle, but haven't done timing yet. My gun isnt working right. The car stops like a fricking motorcycle and the extra weight has made no difference. It boost up to 12psi with the boost controller at its lowest setting. Turbo starts to spool at 3200rpms and sounds like someone opened the drain valve on a air compressor. Water temp ussually sits around 150f and 165f after hard driving. Oil pressure is at 75psi during start up, 50psi when driving, and 25psi once warmed up at idle. Sorry for the long post, just though I'd share.

sounds about right man.check timing tho you should be seeing full boost (10psi) at 3k.........contrary to popular belief the rb20 is a great swap for the s chassis and the car does handle the same as before, course now with blown shocks it sucks complete *** (3 kyb g2s and one tokico blue, dont ask).

Sweet put it on the dyno and let us know how much power it's putting down.

Think I'm going to run the 1/4 first. We've only got two more weeks till the track closes for winter.

What did you do for an intercooler FMIC or stock side mount? Let me know what 1/4 time you run. I'll be interested to see what time i'll be looking at next year.

I went with the stock smic. I'm not sure if I want to run a fmic or an air to water,or just stick with the smic and spray a ton of co2 at it.

Get a front mount. The fun last the whole time and not just the 1st 5 min after you get it started.
