Second batch of NICO banners is done and ready to ship!!!

The cost is $16 and that includes shipping. For the time being, I only have white. However, if more than a few people want a different color, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Keep in mind that darker colors will not show up on window glass... But I think these would look COOL on a hood or down the sides of the doors... :D

(NOTE: Adds 12-15 hp, results may vary).

Here's a couple pics:

Here's a link to buy a banner via PayPal:https://www.paypal.com/xclick/...e=USD

Now get out there and REPRESENT!!!!

Gimme some ideal dimensions (like the length of the quarter window of a 240) and I'll have 'em in a week.

If I get stuck with a batch of these I'm gonna thump somebody. :D

Something real small would be cool, like 1+1/2- 2 in tall and 4-6 in long, I dunno, just a guess. Or one that could go center of the rear window.

Like 1 inch high by 8-10" or however long would be sweet. I'd definitely rock one of those.

If the letters are 2' tall, the script stretches out to 34" long. No way around it, unless you want it all scrunched up and unreadable.

Thanks skwerel - I'll go with your dimensions - All I need is the length, the width is pretty much dependent on what will look right and be readable.

People, including myself, typically dont like big banners on their cars, if at all. I think it has to do with negative associations with the same people that would put something obvious like "POWERED BY HONDA" across their windshield. If i were to put a sticker on my car, it would be subtle and in the rear glass or something. If I were to sport the sticker, it'd be something to be proud of, but not something you need to obviously boast to the world.
AZhitman wrote:But NICO doesn't tell anybody anything.
But it is an authetic logo. Spelling out "www.nissaninfiniticlub.net" sounds like some fledgling website trying to promote itself, spelling out the address in plain type that doesnt take much to duplicate. IMHO, I think NICO decals should mostly be about the enthusiasts, and the main purpose of the decals should not be about promoting the site, but recognizing another member/enthusiast.

Don't get me wrong, I totally give you props to what you are contributing to NICO, with the stickers and all. Takes time and dedication to go out of your way to make stickers like that. I'm just giving my 2 cents and constructive criticism as a participating member on what I think could be improved.

But since the NICO logo has already been established, why dont we just use that? But considering NICO is a sponsored site, I understand the importance of promotion. Here's a suggestion...(yeah i know a similar one exists, only that it has no practical purpose in promoting the site) That way, the sticker has an authentic logo and a promotional purpose. Simple, practical, subtle.

This particular decal would be no bigger than a dollar bill, and instead of black, that would be clear, so the sticker would go on the rear glass. Just a quick suggestion.

Well I completely disagree with your first statement - The purpose is to let people know that we exist and that we have something to offer. Forget the fact that we have advertisers, that just helps defray the cost of running this place.

Anyway, regarding your suggestion on the officia logo decal, I'm on it.

They're probably not gonna be cheap, if I do them in color but I'll try to keep it down. I'll post another thread with some rates and sizes - Gimme an idea of what size you guys want ASAP so I can start on it.

Good point. My bad. I take back my first statement.

Good luck with the decals.

Well people are going to see the sticker and see in small letters the domain name... and also they will probably like your car and ask you about the NICO sticker... then you can explain the site and how great it is...

I know personally when i see a big sticker on a car ... i dont go to that site i just ignore it... if i see something more interesting like that NICO sticker I may ask about it or

if i see the web address i'll be more likely to go to the site out of curiosity.

Thanks

I have the NICO die-cut stickers that will go in a quarter window that are the logo with the web addy below it. I don't have a pic to post right now, but go to jEzTeR's link in the Louisville Monthly Meets thread and there is a pic of a silver one on his SpecV.
