Has anyone else found seats from a completely different car other than a 240 that fits into the 240. Example, would seats from a Volkswagen, Mitsu, Honda, or another Nissan vehicle directly bolt in the 240? I am having a terrible time finding 240 seats somewhere in my state of NC. Only seats I am finding are from several states away that people have in the "For Sale" column and shipping isn't going to be cheap. If I could find another type of seat that would fit then my chance of finding something local would greatly increase.

-Thanks

Yo, try http://car-parts.com they have the listings of a bunch of salvage yards. I searched for '95+ seats and come up with a few here in NC.--you do know that S13 and S14 seats are compatible, direct fit. You should find some on there---usually under $200 for both front seats.

I appreciate your suggestion, but unfortunately I check that listing about every other week. I call on any new listings and every set I have called on have been trashed one way or another. I called today as a matter of fact on a new set that is showing up and they were in a convertible from what the guy said. Needless to say he mentioned they had been rained on pretty regularly. Please, can I catch a break here <talkin to the 240 gods>.

I have some in Nashville, Tn, They are tan leather, but are a bit worn, expecially the drivers side, the passenger side is ok and the back seats are great. How about 100.00 and you pick them up. We arent too far from N.C.

Unfortunately Nashville is roughly 8 hours away. It wouldn't be cost effective to travel that far for those seats. I am looking for gray, or black seats as my car interior is gray. Thanks for your response.

Did you ever consider just reupoholstering your seats. I'm gonna do after market leather--but there are cheaper alternatives

Reupholstering is definitely an option. Maybe I will check into getting that done this week. I have no idea on what I should expect to pay, but I'll let everyone know how much that route costs.

Reupholstering is the route I took. I had the factory leather (hot, slippery) replaced with a nice grippy fabric. I also had the seats custom shaped with high density foam to give much more support for track days.

Total cost to reshape both fronts seats, recover front & rear and the door panels and tint the windows was about $1000 US.

Damn whiterps13 pissed? Hey dankar, where are you at in franklin? I got some alot of friends in Nashville. Just checking.

As far as seats, as long as their near the same size, you could switch the seats with any other cars seats, just grab the brackets off the seats as well. Also, I'm sure you've already checked, but there are usually always part cars on the for sale forum. I'd at least put a WTB there and see what you get
