Hi there guys. Was wondering, anyone recommmend any budget seats? I want something nice. Preferably a bucket seat, for both driver and passanger. Don't care much for brands tbh. I just want something thats bang for your buck. I see a ton on ebay, but not sure how well those are

this is how mine look lol

Welcome!
My suggestion would be to avoid ebay always, and to look for decent used replacements or at replacing the covers of your existing seats.
Interior innovations offers quality seat covers that you can have a upholstery shop install for you, and get the value and comfort of new OEM seats out of the deal. Most aftermarket and other seats just don't look right, are as comfortable as OEM, and lose car value...about all they can offer is a lot less weight, but also then are flimsy or cheap looking.

I agree with Dcaff. EBay is terrible, and for some reason the z32s are just impossible to buy seats for! Most aftermarket seats are too tall so they hit the ceiling, and if they don't hit the ceiling they just look weird because you can't see the top of the seat through the window. The z32 interior has a nice natural gray tone to it, and most companies make brightly colored seats that look akward in the z32 interior.

My plan for my seats is to have the padding redone with gel or memory foam, and then have them reupholstered and have custom ingraving. They will still be custom and super comfortable, without being akward looking or cheap. I plan to have the stock color dark gray leather on my seats with red stitching and lettering in the headrest.

Agreed, re-upholster or find good used OEM (harder said than done). Nissan went through over 1100 seat designs before selecting the perfect seats for our ladies ;)

Thank you guys so much for the replies. I am sold. Will go with what Dcaff. Getting those Z upholstery from interior innovations.

any idea how much an upholstery would charge me to install them?

The interior guy that I use couldn't even give me a good close ball park figure because he wasn't able to lay eyes on the seats themselves and see the amount of damage done to them. So all you can really go off of is what the guys usually charges for just his time if he's hourly or flat rate and then materials. For example say the guy uses a flat rate of $80 for a single bucket and you find the materials you need for 120 then you're looking at 280 (80*2+120) if you're not familiar with the interior shop that you are using ask to see a portfolio of previous work.

My corbeau fx1 fits fine other than helmet clearance, but that's because its bottom mounted and on a slider rail. If it was fixed and side mounted there wouldn't be any issues in a stock car

And the other car had the floor rails cut so the bracket to sit even lower to get even more clearance from the cage

Interesting, i mean i never really go to the track. Once a year tbh. This car is more of a weekend car. drive around for fun. but also some fun at 1/4 miles. its a bit of it all, so i doubt a helmet would be on me for that long.
