Has anybody else found the front seats uncomfortable? The back seats are very comfortable, but the front plain suck, and its starting to take a toll on my back. Does anybody know how to change the lumbar support on the seat, without damaging it? I have a base S hatchback.

In the back I think there is either 1 or 2 zippers where you could possibly remove the cover so you could place additional padding or maybe even memory foam pillows in the lumbar area.

I have an S. I can try it. I smell tuitorial!

I don't find them uncomfortable at all.
And when I first got the car we drove it 18 hours (one way) to Myrtle Beach, and then 18 hours back home.
No one complained about the seats. We found it really nice to take on a road trip.

I actually find both the front and back seats uncomfortable, about 2 weeks ago I let my dad drive the car(I sat in the backseat), they both feel like they need more padding/foam.

Been done. Thats where my 5% windows come in place. :lolling:

Back to topic...front seats could use some extra padding, back seats bounce a bit though. :frown:

As far as opening the zippers goes - bad idea....

The zippers are there because some of the SRS system is inside of the seats. The zippers are there because if it is activated the zippers will pull apart when the SRS side airbag comes out of the seat.

So I wouldn't go messing with the zippers and pulling off the seat covers. Might hinder the SRS.

Hey guys, Im nw to the fourms and this is my first post so here goes.... :dblthumb: I just bought my 2010 1.8 S Super Black Versa last Tuesday and so far I love the car, its just the driver seat is so uncomfortable. The car I traded in was an 08 titan so I guess I'm spoiled when it comes to seats but no matter how far i lean back or move in the seat it just not fun to drive. Now if I picked up the center console arm rest and installed it would it make a deference with he comfort level of the front seat? Oh btw im a big guy, 6"2 300 lbs if any one was wondering....

if you get the ebay armrest, your rides not gonna get much more comfortable... Especially if you're big. You'll come to find that it's very small and barely has enough room for your arm. Although I'm only 5'6" so i sit closer and i can only rest my elbow on it. My recommendation would be to get seat covers so you dont have to mess with the zippers or airbag sensors and maybe shove some extra padding under the cover if it doesn't come with any.

Ah you are missing the memory foam that the SL came with. Get a pillow and stuff it with memory foam and sit on that.

Ya the Versa provides a really comfortable smooth ride ... None of my passengers complained about the seats in any way. I have yet to take her on a far road trip since. Trunk space is minimal in these Versa's :( (That's one of my complaints about her).

Everyone needs to remember, the "S" has diff seats than the "SL". I have the "S" and for me i wish the front seat cushions were a little harder. I like the older BMW seats (don't know about the newer ones...haven't been in one for a while). When I would sit on those, it was like "man these are hard", but actually they were very supportive and not uncomfortable at all.

That is true.

Our SL seats apparently have more foam padding ... or 'memory foam'. I've never sat in an S model before so I can't compare.

Vancouver to Chicago to Toronto and then Toronto, Portland and back to B.C - No complaints, just had to stop at rest areas to stretch out a bit.

I didn't know that you could upgrade the interior on the "S". I have a 2010S and didn't see that on the option list.
