Hi all, new to the forum but not new to Infiniti. Have owned 4, I have a 92 M30 that I have owned for the last 9 years and just picked up a 94 J30.
The front seats in the J are a little rough and have a line on a pair of front seats from an 02 I35.

Can one of you experts advise if these will work in the J? if yes, mods needed?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

i can tell what will not fit directly = 350z seats :P

the only way to tell for sure is by measuring the distance between mounting holes L, W, and diagonal from the J30 and compare them to the I30.

My japanese acquaintance tells me that Nissan Cedric Y32 aftermarket brackets are compatible with our J30's so ill let you know once those show up in about 4 weeks.

ok thnk ya Junya. The seats in my J are a little beat up and i can buy seats from an 02 i35 same color that have working heaters, and working power in good shape for 100 for the pair.

you might want to do a height comparison also just in case. The Z seats in my J30 are terrible because it sits 2 inches higher and for a taller guy like myself means less head room.

the seller gave me the measurements, the bolt holes are 18 inches back to front and 17 inches side to side. he also said the back bolts go in at an angle. Was wondering if anyone with a J can check those measurements to see if they would work.
I am 200 miles away from my J so cant measure myself.

thanks,

Are the seats heated and motor driven that are coming from the I35? If they are, they're incompatible with the seating harness in the '94 J.
