I have never had an aftermarket seat and until recently did I learn there was side mount and bottom mount lol.

I plan on going for these seats:http://www.sportcompactonly.co...3.htm

Now, are these bottom mount or side mount, and what would work with an s13?

I'm thinkin I need:Bracket: http://www.sportcompactonly.co...0.htmSlider: http://www.sportcompactonly.co...3.htmand Hardware: http://www.sportcompactonly.co...5.htm

right? or will this not work?

Thanks

Close that set up would be a set up for a bottom mount seat. You would need a side mount rail like in this link

The Nagisa mounts are as low as you can buy, and that is what you will need to mount aftermarket seats in an s13 chassis. Any aftermarket seat will tend to mount too high, as the floors (and the stock seats), arent the same from side to side. The inner mounting points are higher than the outboard mounting points, while most aftermarket mounting brackets are set at the same (higher) level.

The Fighter should work - if you are short in stature, and the car is without a sunroof. Otherwise, the only seat I have found that will work is the MOMO Start, which is also a one piece FIA rated racing seat. It has a very thin bottom side, and can be mounted very low in the chassis - either fixed with fabricated mounts, or on the Nagisa, which is adjustable fore and aft.

Good Luck. Also the Fighter is a seat for a slim person - take that into consideration. There are other Sparcos that have more butt space.
