right speaking of seat belts... i heard theres a way to 'disengage' the automatic seatbelts on an s13. some guy round here said he did it but wouldnt say how. anyone know of this??

why would you want to? if you don't want the belt in your way if you have and aftermarket harness, just unclick the belt from the motor assy and it'll be out of the way

the control for the belts right under the center console. you can either unplug it or take it out completly.

Pull the rear panels off behind the door. There will be the seat belt motor behind it. Cut the 2 large wires going to the motor. that will disable the motor from moving but will allow all the sensors for the seat belts to work. :)

wHAT does the control unit look like, and can you give a more specififc location. Is it behind the E-brake?

it is a goldishmetal box labeled "seat belt control"

I have no idea why you want to disable it.. i cant begin to imagine turning off your seatbelts is a safe thing

bah, weight saving...i HAVE NO seatbelts...i took them out completely!
