I have a 1990 Nissan 240sx Hatch. My seatbelt wont work. It is in a position where it is right before the locking point if it was working. It is stuck in the position for both sides. Also, the seatbelt sensor on the gauge cluster keeps blinking. What could this problem be?

if I remember correctly, the stock seatbelt in any nissan is garranted on any fuctioning car, reguardless of the milage or whatever. I think you can just roll that up to the dealership and say fix it, and they have to for free.

Ok so to fix this go behind your seat and pull the panel off that is on the side covering the seatbelt moter if you look at it you should see a place to put an allen key in and just turn it and the seat belt will move so you can just put it to where it should be when you are driving and just disconnect it you will have to remove the seatbelt when you get out but that is what i did and its jsut fine
