My car was in a light fender bender and now my seatbelt light is blinking when I put my seatbelt on. Is there any way I can get this turned off without taking it to the dealer.I am afraid they will try to void my warranty.I have put it on a scanner and the code comes up b2453Any help would be appreciated

It wont "VOID" your warranty, but, something may verywell not be connected properly after the body shop put it back together...

FIRST, I would take it to the body shop and have them look into it... Hopefully it is just something that needs to be connected, but if so, they probably have already taken it to a dealer to reset a code...

Look at your detailed repair list and see if there is a "Sublet to Dealer" for programming work order line...

If it is related to the fender bender, most likely it will not be covered under warranty, but it will not void it... unless the body shop chopped up a harness or something... then thats another story you would take up with your insurance company and body shop...
