Seatbelt Button

Both the front seatbelts on the 2003 M45 that I just purchased are missing the plastic button that keeps the buckle from sliding all the way to the floor. This makes it a PITA to find the buckle once the door is shut. I was just goning to sew some black buttons back on, but thougt I would first ask what other folks have done.

BTW, I did a search and did not see anything on this issue....... Thanks.
