I just bought a 98 pathfinder, and while it's in really good shape, I can't seem o be able to slide the drivers seat backward or forward anymore than 1". I've looked at the rails that it slides on, and see nothing lodged into the tracks and I don't see anything bent that may he causing it to hang up. Any advice? Is rather not have to go through the hassle of buying and installing a new seat.

I am not sure if there are limit switches to define the travel length. I don't believe so.
When you slide, does the motor sound very weak or strong (normal)?

Sorry, I forgot to mention there is no motor. These slide manually.

Have the exact same issue on my 96 Piddy Path, but on the passenger seat.

I was gonna head down the junk yard and pick up some news but i forgot.

But if someone has a better solution, im all ears.

Side, note, does anyone have a "hump" in the middle of their passenger seat? Whenever i ride in the passenger seat, i noticed its WAY taller than the drivers seat (but with 120K on the clock, i get why that is) but it has this weird hump right where your A hole is, so a little uncomfortable.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Some cars (just got my pathy, so idk if it does!) have a round cog-shaped piece that adjust exactly why your talking about. Check to see if yours does, and if so, try readjusting it? (I can't remember what THAT particular adjustment is called)
