My seat switch has basically quit ( will go forward & tilt forward but not back) Could someone tell me how to remove the switch so I can replace it. I'm hoping i can get the part at another vendor besides the dealer?

Check out the g-series FAQ (link in my sig). It should have the info you're looking for.

Have you had any luck or progress with this issue?

I have had my switch out and moved it to the front to keep my leg from hitting it. I rebuilt the padding to be more comfortable. Take the seat out (4 bolts) then you can see how to slip the upholstery up over the switch. As I remember, there were two screws holding the switch in place. Unplugging the wires is difficult but not too bad. After the seat is out the plastic wraparound panel is held in place with plastic push locks and maybe a couple of screws. It is easy to see what to do. Good luck.
