I have posted previously about the fact that my 1994 q45 driver's seat recline is not working. However, even if I get it to work, I won't have enough headroom. I have to lean to right when I drive to benefit from the extra headroom under the sunroof opening portion of the headliner. Has there been anyone who has swapped seats in their q45 successfully to obtain more headroom? Thanks.

I think he means like a different seat. Sounds like he is tall.I know what you mean. My seat is the whole way back and Iam only 6 ft. I don't know if another type of seat would be lower or not?Try removing drivers seat and sitting in the back!

Golly, what does Shaq drive?

I'm 6'2 and have the seat no where near all the way back, and I have a 34" inseam, so my legs aren't short. Seat is down all the way on rear half, slightly up in front so it's under my things, and back is tilted back a bit, steering wheel is all the way out and up a good bit. Works for me.

Are G50, Y33, and F50 seats interchangable? I dont know if the newer model seats provide more headroom, but I'm curious if they bolt in or not.

Rob (rsiwicki) is tall (played college Bball) and he even drove his G50 with a helmet on once. Of course looking at the pic in his sig, the sun roof is open .

I'm not sure what he may have done, but I tell you the seat in the Q (95) I bought from him sits lower than the seat in my other Q (94)??

My Recaro A8's sit nice and low. I am only 6' tall, but there is still plenty of headroom left, and the seat has more room to move back too.

Ozzie - could you post some pics? Any problems w/install? W/the price of replacement leather, I can buy an aftermarket Recaro or Sparco seat!

Yup.... exactly the same, except mine have LCD monitors mounted to the back now

my seats came with the car.... Recaro make a seat mounting bracket for Nissan, which fits perfectly. (That's what my seats have)

Would these seats fit in a G50?
