Hello,

I'm a new owner of an 2006 M35X and I noticed that the base of my seat shifts forward slightly when braking...anyone else experience this? Wondering if there is a tsb for it.

Thanks

Good question. Mine does it too in my '06 M45. I was planning on having it fixed by the dealer under warranty, but it would be good to know if there is a TSB for it...

My drivers side seat moves a lot as well. Im going to get it fixed when I take the car in next.

When I test drove my M45 I noticed right away that the seat would lurch forward slightly when I was braking and then would return back once I had stopped.

I am not talking about more than a half inch or so, but it was noticeable. I made the dealer fix it prior to the sale.

I'm assuming they corrected this issue on the 2007 model M's. As of current, mine does not do this. Are you guys noticing this around a specific mileage? Mine has 18,500mi and haven't experienced this seat movement.

My car has 28K miles. Its possible it was fixed on the '07s.

Mine is an 07 so I don't think it was confined to just one particular year. I bought mine with 20k on it and it already had the issue.

Hello all,

I purchased an '06 M35 in April '08 and noticed the driver seat shifting under hard breaking. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the rail under original warranty at no charge[

Hope this helps.
