seat, seat cover, tires

I have just purchased an 07 M and found out it has the dreaded broken seat rail. A local shop will weld it stronger than oem so I think i am going to go that route but the seat is worn so I am tempted to get a seat from the junk yard. Only problem with that is it will have the same weak bracket and could give me the same problem. So my idea is to see if anyone knows of a good seat cover. And if anyone knows of a good seat I would be interested anyway-wheat, w/ climate, non sport non bose speakers in seat. Lastly, any tire suggestions and where to purchase are needed. I am thinking about the Kumho Solus TA71. Thanks

If you're just looking to replace the worn leather on a seat...I'd just get a whole seat from the junk yard and have them fix the rail if and when that is bad.

As for the tires...I only trust TireRack and their scores/reviews...and I buy pretty much always from them unless I can find a set of 4 cheaper on Amazon/eBay. Many people here have used or still use the Continental ExtremeContact DWS...with good results. I'm currently on Pirelli Cinturato P7's.
