Seat rocking

hey guys i have a 04 g35 coupe my driver seat rocks a little bit probly a screw loose from my fat a** but i cant find it and dont have the time to search for it and im taking it to the dealer if it wont cost a arm and leg to fix. has anyone had this problem and or takin it to the dealer for a fix? if its expensive which it shouldnt be then i'll just fix it when i get a chance

There's a TSB on the problem. It's recommended that one of the motors be replaced if memory serves.

Those seats are ridiculously expensive as is most of the hardware. Maybe the dealer will work with you

Its the seat rail.

Some people have had success by raising the seat as high and forward as possible and adjusting frame rail and retorquing the screws.

i went to the infinitihelp website and i downloaded the file for the Seat rocking but for somereason it says file cannot be found. if any of you can somehow get it and post it on here or send it to my email would be awesome. i went to the dealership today and even though i have 36,000 miles on my car its out of warranty they want 1200$ for the part alone thats crazy as hell. if i can find that fix it would be sweet

ok nevermind i was able to download it i just had to upgrade my adobe reader. it talks about replacing the lift motor but all my electrical stuff works fine . at the dealership they said it was the seat frame and that it was bent or broken.

which dealer is it?are you in Lexington or Lousiville?

those frames rarely bend or break, but the rocking problem is common.Like the one poster said there is a TSB.

TSB's generally get covered even after warranty.
