Getting ready to do the big instal of the b-quiet extreme.

Has anyone removed the driver or passenger seat in the coupe? I need to know if the airbag would be a big issue. I know there's an airbag built into both seats, but is it only a matter of unplugging the wires below the seat? Also, and maybe more importantly, anyone know if it could void the warranty?

Anyone with seat removal experience I would love to hear your thoughts, but specifically I wanna know about the 07/08 altima.

just remember.....don't turn on the car with any of the airbag sensors unplugged. You will get that annoying flashing airbag light if you do...and will have to have it reset.

To be safe and avoid any headaches... disconnect the negative terminal before disconnecting anything under the seats. Also those 2 bolts (star pattern) in the back part of the seats are PoS. The metal they use is really soft, so exercise caution.

I've read/heard that if you leave the battery unplugged long enough, the ecu will throw a code when plugged back in. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

I don't think the problem is leaving it unplugged, I think it is plugging and unplugging alot at one time. The CEL is the KAM (keep alive memory).

I've had mine unplugged for about 24 hrs at one point while working on the audio install. Only issue is the auto window needs to be reset but it's easy. But the negative terminal is a great idea thanks. I probably would have realized it at some point but if not thanks guys.
