About to turn 10k on my SL AWD. For the last thousand miles I've noticed a distinct creaky/rattle noise in the cabin. It sounded like it was coming from underneath the driver’s seat. With the help of a friend we were able to pinpoint it to my power driver's seat. The noise is very noticeable while driving over rough roads. I'm able to duplicate the noise at times while the car is still by rocking myself a certain way on the seat. Wondering if anyone else experiencing the same. Looks like I'll be going for a ride with my service adviser. I will not let him out until he hears the noise.

Check the seatbelt when attached to the lock assembly, I have to adjust the seatbelt a bit so that the lock assembly does not hit the leather seat area.

A friend of mine weighs more than 250lbs. (she would shoot me for telling this story)... when she sits in the passenger seat it pops and makes noises. The same thing happened when she drove our Rogue and she was very embarrassed.

So far, I haven't heard any noises... but only 1100 miles on the odo.

I'm currently 350 lbs (was 432 when I bought the rogue in November). The seats have never creaked or made strange noises. I have sat in the passenger and rear seats as well without noise issues.

I would take it to the dealer for them to check it out.

Thanks for the responses and ideas. Sorry I haven't responded sooner (been busy and away from the PC). I'm going to dedicate some time this weekend to take a closer look. I look and the entire seat belt setup including the shoulder adjustment. Heck I'll remove the seat from the car as well. If I can't find anything then off to the dealer it goes. I'll keep you posted.
