Seat problems (hole)

oK, SO, I go into the dealer and tell them I have a hole in the seat (1/4 inch big). I was not too worried as first of all, I thought it was my fault...sitting with a pen in my pocket.......

But then I noticed a metal rod sticking out of the seat.......

So I bring it in and they say it is not covered under waranty. They say they don't warranty the seat cover...........and I am like, Ok, I understand that they don't cover the seat cover but this was done because of a broken rod that poked through the seat cover.

So know I have to call Nissan directly and try to *****........ yeah, ok, I have nothing better to do.

would u just sell that dam* car already! u're mostly spending hell of a money on phone calls and round trips trying to fix it!..

I disagree. This car has been put through severe service. It has almost 90,000 kilometres on it after its first year. It is a driver training vehicle with multiple drivers behind the wheel. Some issues are to be expected.

The standard warranty has expired on it and unfortunately the extended warranty does not cover seats as they are not considered a mechanical item. In fact seat frames are specifically mentioned in the list of exclusions.

Hope you have luck with Nissan but I'm not so sure you will.....
