Seat position 1 &2 keep flashing non stop

My seat position buttons began flashing on my 94Q out of nowhere. It just flasheses continuously without any pause, even when the car is off. Check functions associate with it and the only this that don't work is the steering whell moving up and down and of course the mememory postions. Everything else is fine. Anyone ever had this issue?

Check out the diagnostics on and around page EL-132 in the FSM. You might also try disconnecting the battery overnight to see if something resets before you get into it too far.

The BCMs from the 94-96 Q's have a TSB issued addressing symptoms like yours. You probably need a replacement BCM. Do the seat/steering column controls work? If not, you are a classic TSB symptom. The TSB # is ITB96-016 and applies to vehicles w/ a build date prior to 12/5/95. Any BCM from a car w/ a production date after 12/95 should fix the problem. The updated BCM P/N is 28941-67U03.
