Seat parts interchangeability (seat backs to seat bottoms)

So I've discovered the very "creative" P.O. of my new toy has bolted 2 passenger seats in my car. I intend(ed) to recover these (done this a few times before w/ good success).

I'm having trouble locating a driver's side seat without paying silly $ for something I'm about to spend more $ recovering. However, I have found a few seat bottoms (frame and springs and motors) on ebay for reasonable enough. I know the backrest adjustment knob will still be on the wrong side, and I'll have no lumbar adjustment, but will a passenger backrest bolt directly otherwise to a driver's side seat bottom?
