Seat options and seat covers for 1994 Q45

I saw a 1992 Q45 with some nice seats in the salvage yard. I was wondering if they will fit a 1994 model? Will the power seat controls still work? Also I was wondering what other seats from Nissan/Infiniti vehicles will fit? I would even be fine with some cloth seats. Will seats from other manufacturers fit?

Still wondering if earlier model seats will fit? Also I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with seat covers? I have seen leather and cloth covers for the Q45, are either any good?

Not as good as new leather upholstery.

What about the older seats (1990-1993) in a 1994 car?

Why do you want to do this?

I ask because you can use components from 1990-1993 Q45 seats but not the whole seat.

I read that the 1994 and up Q45s had softer leather seats than earlier models, but the 1992 model seemed softer to me. Also, my seat has a bunch of rips and tears in it. So the bottom seat and back will swap out?

I bought a cheap set of covers for my 94 about 5 years ago on eBay. They were thin "leatherette" material but looked pretty good and held up well for several years. They're showing some wear now but I can't locate a supplier for a similar set anymore. Curious what you decided to do? I've thought about getting the original leather replaced at an upholstery shop, but I probably don't want to pay the price! And I've never come across a set at a junkyard that seemed worth it - remember they're going to be just as old as your originals. They might not look worn but are probably going to split before long!

Yeah I came across a set that looked great at the parts yard. Next week, when I went to get them, they had a split in them from somebody being very aggressive taking out some speakers and door regulators. I still have not decided on which ebay ones to go with yet.
