Hello My car was hit from behind and was totaled. I was at a red light and someone ran into the back of me. He was going about 35 MPH and forced me into the car in front of me. My body went forward and then back. I am about 210 LBS so it was a big hit to the seat. Now the back part of the seat does not sit straight. It moves back and forth and up and down with no problems. It makes me lean to the right and I have to sit up away from the back to face forward. Can I bend the back so that it is straight and not bent to the right? If so, how can I do this? Could a bodyman do it? I hope these pictures help.THANKS Peabody

Check this out.. Was under the FAQs section on http://www.240sx.org - not sure if it's the same problem, but can't hurt to check?

Thanks BoyWonder. But that problem is with the up and down position which is fine with my seat. My problem is the seat frame maybe is bent from the impact of my body going into it. Maybe I can take the seat apart and try to bend the frame back to the normal shape.

Hmm.. hard to tell by looking at those pictures. I bet you could get a used S13 seat cheap enough from someone upgrading to something fancier. I guess it depends on if you want to bother bending it back, and how bad it is. If/when you do take it out, can you take some more pictures, so we can see how bad it is at perhaps a better angle?
