I'm in love with a G35 but it's too uncomfortable to sit in. I'm a big guy, not fat but I have a big frame. I've read some things about removing the seat bottom side supports. Has anyone removed the seat back side supports? They press into my back rib cage. I desperatly want this car but want to enjoy sitting in it too. Please don't just tell me to go to an upholstery shop. I'd like information on cost to do it and any problems encountered. Are a 2009 G37 seats the same? Not adjustable in the side supports?
Thanks, JC

Thanks,
There must be some way to fix the back. I'm sure the seats will have to be taken apart though. I don't know if they are sport seats or not. The car has the premium package. I'm new to Infiniti's and haven't bought it yet. I'd like more info before I buy a car and bring it to an upholstery shop first thing. JC

The sport models have thigh bolsters that take some getting used too. I'm a big Guy and they are much better after some wear-in time.

Thanks, I'm stopping in tomorrow to seat in a 2009 G37 and see if it's better. JCaton

The G37 w/o sport seats in MUCH more comfortable and what a rocket!!!

Yeah but the G37 without the sports seats and I slid from side to side. I just got done with a cruise through some twisties and It kept me in place and comfortable. I'm even 6'3" and 300lbs and no problems. I even drove it 12 hours straight and got out of it with no aches or pains, as in my maxima I used to.

The suspension and brake upgrades are worth the sport package IMO. ...even if the seat takes some getting used too.
