hold set, wait for both lights to go on. select one
and voila, there is also a switch on the left of the steering wheel that shows the "Seat" and "auto" make sure it is in the on position. and ensure you dont unplug the battery.

ok - so I did this, but when I manually moved the seat out of position, it didn't do anything.
Did I set it right or did I miss something?

Here's exactly what I did:
1. moved the seat into my desired postition (recliner, fwd/bkwd, and tilt)
2. hold set button until (1) and (2) lit up
3. pressed (1); expecting (1) to save the current positions
4. manually moved the seat forward, as if a shorter person was driving the truck
5. pressed (1) - nothing happened

I made sure the seat-memory switch was not on "Off/cancel", but was set to "Auto".

I went to download the owners manual this morning here: http://www.infiniti-techinfo.com/deptog.aspx?dept_id=55

reading thru the manufacturer's instructions... I'm supposed to be in "P" or less than 4mph.
I was in neutral. I have the tendancy to slap the car in neutral when I'm parked in a parking spot (reasons are insignificant as to why - just habit).

So, I re-did all the instructions as Innovazn instructed while in "P" and it works now :)
