Got the car since Sept. 2024. The seat memory never really worked since I got it. I went to my local Nissan dealership for a check, they told me the seat memory module was bad and asked for $1434 (Part No. 28565EJ90A). Found one for $40 on ebay then replaced it. It feels better than before. However, the seat memory only works when the steering wheel is in its most up position. Even when it is slighly tilted downwards relative to the most up position, the seat memory is like it has cut off power/doesn't work at all. Disconnected the battery for half and hour, did not do anything. What should I do now?

I would start by looking at the Factory Service Manual and checking the wire schematics...sounds like something is pinched/shorting in certain positions and not others.

This is the most relevant diagram I think. However, I am a beginner and understands little of it.
