Seat memory issue

I am needing some help. I have been having issues with my seat and wheel memory when starting the car. Sometimes it works fine. Other times the seat may move back to the save position and the wheel only moves an inch or so. I normally have to hit the 1 bottom for the wheel to go to the save position. Other times nothing will move and I go to hit the 1 button and nothing happens. Its like it is dead. No light or any response from the switch. If I shut the car off and restart it usually solves the issue. Could the issue be a short in the switch? Unfortunately the warenty just ran out. Could it be a bad connection under the seat? Is there a certain wiring harness under the seat for this function? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have searched for a bit but can't seem to come up with any definitive answeres.

Mine too! It didn't start happening until after about 60K miles (it's a 2006 M35X). I find it frustrating to deal with, not sure if the memory function is going to fail or not. Reprogramming doesn't help as it continues to happen randomly.

It doesn't appear to be temperature related in my case, happens all year round.

Mine was doing the same thing, took it in and they said they changed the memory. It is still happening, I'm going to take it back and see what happens. Mine seems to happen after 3+ days of not driving.
