For some reason this feature isn't working anymore. I stopped after I got a Viper alarm with remote start installed. I wonder if something was was disconnected and needs to be re-connected. Anyone knows about this?

Owners and incompetent technicans cause many more problems than defects in designs and natural wear do!

Your FSM contains detailed trouble shooting proceedures. It devotes 84 PAGES to just these 2 functions................

It might be crazy, but your cancel button might be depressed. My Q guy told me he used to get tons of of Q's coming in because owner's inadvertently hit the switch, then came in and complained of a malfunction. They paid for diagnostics and drove loaners all around while the techs just pushed the cancel button again to reset.

You may want to try the following procedure to reset the Memory Function: 1. Open the driver’s door (leave open)2. Turn the key to the Run position (do not turn car on)3. Turn the key all the way back off, but don't remove the key4. Close the door5. Wait about 1 minute6. Open the door, the memory function should work now.

Good Luck!

I'm guessing the battery was disconnected installing the alarm. Whenever I disconnect my battery mine stops working and a few days later it starts working again.

Where would the cancel button be located?

It's part of the same switch assembly as the joystick that controls the steering wheel. You should absolutely follow the reset procedure too... the 94-96 seems to need it from time to time.

I have a question about Vogue Tyres? I know they are mainly for show than performance on Cadillacs and Buicks but they do look damn good on Q's with factory chrome wheels. My question is are they really good for the 1994 Q 45. Also I was wondering about the suspension on the Q45a? Whats the difference? More suspension on the rear wheels or more expensive? Holla back , Texas Q45 enthusist.

I know they disconnected the battery to install the alarm since I have two batteries, one in the trunk for amp and subs and under the hood.

1.) Strike a pose! No one here has run them. Refer to the tire sticky in Infiniti General. Educate us. Size? Load rating? Speed Rating? Construction? UTQG?

2.) RTFSM or the posts here, especially by TexasOil. A completely different animal, althought the suspension geometry is the same. Really semiactive as weaker springs compensate for car weight while hydraulic rams adjust to road imperfections. More expensive. Common in Japan, uncommon in the USA.

It's on the left side of the steering column and is part of the tilt switch. Depressing it cancels the memory so it needs to be off (button out). Did you try the reset procedure posted earlier? What were the results? After that you may have to reset the memory on the door.
