Seat Memory 1997

Can somebody please, in one post, describe the exact process of

1. clearing the seat memory
2. setting up memory 1
3. and setting up memory 2

?

I'm getting tired of setting my seat manually between sporty and casual driving.

I have my 1997 Q45 and I managed to save a seat config, but that was a while ago and I don't remember how it went down. Plus I need to clear that one to make way for the two correct positions.

Do you have the owner's manual? If so there's a quite complicated and non-intuitive method described in there.

Not too hard from what i remember

1 Car in park
2 adjust seat to your liking
3 press set... both lights will flash
4 press 1 or 2... that light will flash once

done

that will do it, in the manual.....I have had to re-do it several times and for sure when I put in a new battery and after the battery was disconnected.
