seat heaters dead

On my 94Q, neither of the seat heaters work. P/owner had removed the switches to make room for an aftermarket CD deck control unit. No lights on either switch in forward of aft position. Fuse is good. Is there a relay to check? Were heated seats an option?

Any suggestions to troubleshoot this?
