Seat covers??

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I have an '08 Journey and can't find seat covers for the EX. Are these the same seats in other models?? Looking for black cloth covers. Help!!

You might have to try universal ones but ensure that they are designed for use with seats such as ours that have airbags built into them. I have seen those seat covers and they have special stitching in the sides that allow the airbags to deploy. Good luck!

Just curious, but why would you want to cover them? Pets? Messy kids or spouse?

To keep the side bolsters from wearing out - Lexol can only go so far.

My Uncle once asked me... "who am I saving the Seats for?

... and then he said "For the next guy that owns my Car?"

I haven't used Seat Covers since.

Totally agree... It's the equivalent to keeping your car wrapped in the blue shipping plastic. These seats are really good though, much better than my old G35... 24000 kilometres and they aren't really showing any signs of wear...

Try it without the covers and see how it goes.

I am one of those guys that keep good cars a long time - my 2000 z3 roadster has 100k on the clock and it still looks many years younger. I will eventually get some black cloth seat covers for the front - it gets hot in Fla.

Any decent sized universal seat cover will fit fine, I purchased mine from Walmart for $20 and love it, especially because my wheat interior easily becomes black. Its all really handy for the winter time. Just be careful some of the cheap ones have fabric underneath (or foam cushioning) usually tend to make the seat dirty and messy. It's a pain to clean up afterward, if I had a black interior, I wouldn't bother covering up my seats. When you have a light interior and the entire color of your leather changes, it doesn't look pretty. You could only ignore so much.

The joys of a lighter colored Interior.
