wool seats were a popular option in japan,leather less so.early q had wool seats with leather as an option,but almost every q that was sold in usa had the leather option,made standard shortly after q introduction.

I understand what you are saying.

The Japanese generally don't like to sit on dead cowhide..

However in this owners manual it says wool moquette was used over all the areas I described..

this is a US infiniti owners manual. Printed in the USA...

In fact, it says nothing about leather...

Look in your owners manual under interior/exterior care

This is coming from a 92 owners manual
