Your 94Q has seatbelt pre-tensioners. Basically, explosive cylinders that pre-tighten the belt as sensors detect a crash. Your problem may be more than a bad switch. Do you have the factory service manual? If not you can download one for $20 at
http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/infiniti with the one day viewing subscription. Be sure to get the TSBs too.
