I changed the rear brake pads on my M45 and now the seat belt tensioner activates every time I put on the breaks. is there a cure for this or do I just have to live with this?

Do you mean the pre-crash seat belt motor would engage every time you brake (The belt pulls you back into the seat)? The pre-crash control unit has a few sensors connected to it that would tell it to activate the pre-crash belt motors, Brake pedal stroke sensor (Does your brake pedal move too quickly when you apply force? If yes flush your brake fluid. It should be at the top and very tight) If the air bags were deployed in a previous accident did they replace the crash sensor? You could also reset the pre-crash control unit. It's in the trunk behind the lining on the drivers side. Disconnect it and re-connect.
