New to the forum -- glad to be here. I have a 2010 Altima Coupe 3.5 SR (and loving it). Has anyone addressed the issue of the seat belt shoulder strap being too tight? In my prior cars, there was a mechanism whereby you could pull out the strap slightly until it "clicked" leaving a tiny amount of slack so the belt did not create constant annoying pressure on the body (I forgot what that feature was called). Any ideas?

Welcome AviBen! Nice color choice!

I haven't really noticed a problem with the shoulder strap. It behaves the way every other car I've owned has. The belt is still movable but its doing its job. What prior cars did you have that were more comfortable?

My three immediately previous cars were a 1989 Lincoln Mark VII (130,000+ mi.), 1994 Olds Aurora (V8) (170,000+ mi.) and a 2001 Mercedes E320 (198,000 mi.) -- admittedly, luxury cars with "pampering" suspensions, shocks, and seat belts. I hasten to add that I'm enjoying the Altima Coupe far more than any previous car (including the Camaro I had from 1983-89). I briefly considered the 370Z but rejected it for a number of reasons, including difficulty getting in and out (I'm an old guy!), less comfortable driving position, lack of rear seats, smaller trunk cargo area, greater noise, etc., all of which led me to conclude that an extra $10k simply wasn't worth it.

Thanks, but that's not the issue -- my build is normal. Oh, well, it's enough fun to drive as is . . . .
