Seat belt marking side pillar

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I consider myself to be a bit of a neat freak, and like to keep my things looking new. I have one challenge..the rub marks from the repeated pulling of the front seat belts..I know, with me it's the little things. I like the idea of carrying the headliner fabric into the side pillar, it looks sharp, but at what cost? I noticed on my friends Buick Enclave, GM wrapped the plastic around the front of the pillar a bit, so that this will not happen. Also the fabric is starting to show some signs of wear, more than likely from shoulder or arm rub. Short of having it professionally cleaned, does anyone have any idea how to clean these rub marks off? On a side note, I really hope that Infiniti has corrected the door seal issue with the new models..adhesive? Really? :chuckle:

Let me guess... you have the lighter Stone interior?

Whats wrong with the Door Seal? Ours doesn't have any issues.

Yes, I have a light, I call grey interior, which I love..lol..when its clean. The rubber door seals along the top fit into a VERY small track in the chrome door trim and they pop out when you look at em funny. This happens on all the doors, and when I was looking at other, at least 2008 models, they all had the same issue. I am constantly having to pop them back in until I can't stand it anymore, then I will take it to the dealer for the adhesive fix  It really was a poor design, and I imagine Infinity fixed the issue. Mine was manufactured in 4/08 fyi.
