seat belt light

i have a 89 240sx and the seat belt light in the cluster well not turn off does any one have this problem or no how to solve it.

my friend disconnected the little box up under his consol and he never comes on or beeps try that I dont know what else that could affect but its worth a shot or just tke light out

Check the sensor on the seat belt latch, it's probably faulty.. If that doesn't work you can always take the bulb out of the cluster.

I know for a FACT that these belts are covered for life... but dunno if this would fall under their warranty...

it's best to call your local nissan dealer or give a holla to the nissan online technician in a seperate part of these awesome forums
