I have what may be a simple problem to resolve. Up until a few days ago my seats and sterring wheel were presented to me just the way i liked it. Today, I have to try to find those aboslutely correct positions without the benefit of technology. Is there a simple fix for this problem??? I've searched and cannot find it. thanks Jazz

Start out with the reset procedure in the attached TSB.

Good luck!

thanks for the link! obviously its not going to be as simple as I thought. I really like that feature, because I wear a leg brace on my right leg and it makes it much easier to get in and out of the car. Best Regards Jazz

yesterday I pulled up in the driveway, my neighbor pulled up behind me, turned the key off and left the door open talking to my neighbor. Soon we both heard the steering wheel go up and seat moved. I don't know what happened, but its been working since. thanks for all the help. Jazz

Gremlins. They hopped aboard the ship when the Q came over from Japan and have been with the car ever since.

If you haven't already, blow out the ignition keyhole with compressed air and see if it helps.
