Seat Adjustment Issue with Keyfob

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi There!!

I have this issue that the seat does not adjust with one of the intelligent keys for my car. The first key works in re-adjusting the seat to settings #1 but when I try to use the 2nd keyfob the seat does not re-adjust the mirrors/seat to settings #2. The buttons on the door work in adjusting re-adjusting the seat positions.

Anyone have the same issues? Any suggestions? Thank you!

The obvious thing to do, would be to change the Battery.

Apart from that, I dunno ?

The door opens with either key but its the seat adjustment that works with only one key and not the other. If the key battery key were low the door would not have opened... but the door opens, its the seat settings/adjustments that does not associate with the profile of that key.....

Do you mean that it used to work, but doesn't anymore?
If it never worked, did you ever follow the steps in the manual to link the 2nd key to settings #2? It isn't linked by default. My 2008 manual talks about it on page 3-25, "Linking Intelligent Key to a stored memory position":

1. Follow the steps for storing a memory position (push SET, and then push the memory switch (1 or 2) for at least 1 second).
2. While the indicator light for the memory switch being set is illuminated for 5 seconds, push the unlock button on the Intelligent Key. If the indicator light blinks, the Intelligent Key is linked to that memory setting.
