Besides having a million other things I need to do to my 720, like replacing the entire front end, it's time for some new wheels. The stock rims are becoming rusty, and it's not just surface rust. What's a decent looking, reasonably priced set of wheels that doesn't have ridiculous measurements? I'm open to all suggestions, big or small.

We're on the same boat. Up until the tire sizes since you have 2wd and I have 4wd.

But anyways, rims from the D21s and up to 04 Frontiers will fit your truck. I've heard that you can even fit Escalade rims on the 720s but don't quote that from me.

Our bolt pattern is 6X139.7 and our center bore is 100.0. Only the 99-04 Frontiers & Pathfinders, all year Xterras, and Pathfinder Armadas have our rim style so if you can manage to find used rims or something at the junkyard you're in luck. Most of the rims on those trucks are 14 or 15s.

Also, American Racing has the rims that will fit the 720s. But I'm not sure how much you want to spend. They're around $200 a rim.

anything from american racing is typically decent in price.... mine are 15x7 aluminum wheels from american racing that were about $400 all together

my racing wheels are steel wheels... 15x10... picked those up new for $265 for all 4

I'd rather have aftermarket wheels instead of OEMs from another model, mainly due to offsets and such. But, thanks for the info! PEZi - what brand are your racing wheels?

Well, I've found some wheels that I'm in love with, but I haven't committed to yet. Just curious, if I ran 16x8's would I encounter any problems? Also, what size tire should I run with them?

You shouldn't but you may have to use tires with less sidewall.

That's one of the few things I'm afraid of, since I actually enjoy sidewall. Would the width be problem though?

My bad for the late reply. But the width would throw off your speedo a bit. So you would have to get it re calibrated.

they're actually american racing as well. they are big and heavy though, and will be replaced in the future. either more aluminum american racing ones like my street wheels have, or something from spinwerkes..... but those are costly

For 4x4 wheels I've always liked the Cragar Soft 8 wheels in black. they're a good looking steel wheel. 47.95 each at summit racing.

If you've got a bit more to spend the Rota Grid comes in a 720 friendly size. $600-700 for a set of 16x8

And if you've got tons of cash to burn Nismo Volk TE37x wheels are what the Rota Grid is copying. They're about $600 a wheel.
